A Fashionista’s 3-Step Guide to Finding the Perfect Versatile Outfit
So, you’re pretty good at finding chic outfits for everyday occasions, but have you scooped the perfect versatile outfit that you’ll be able to wear all through 2018 for any occasion? As a fellow fashionista, I have spent countless hours browsing recent sales online trying to find the perfect versatile outfit I’d like to refer to as “The One,” and I might be able to help you find yours too. While searching, I came across two articles that narrowed down the thousands of options for me.
In a recent Fashionista article, titled 4 New Year’s Eve Outfits you’ll Definitely Wear again in 2018, by Lauren Caruso, she listed four versatile dresses that will make you the star of any NYE’s party and that you will wear numerous more times in the new year. She focused on everyday outfits that you can wear every day, but can also be elevated with accessories that won’t break the bank. Her advice was to stick to neutral shades, preferable black dresses and then add some dazzling accessories.

In the second article, titled The Secrets of Well-Dressed Women, on Forbes, Leah Bourne advises women to go shopping with a plan like the French woman. She says deciding what works best in your closet and heading out to buy that particular item is ideal. Also be selective in buying items that will serve multiple purposes in your wardrobe and avoid impulse buying.
Below are the three steps you can take to be fashionable ready for any occasion.
- · Pick Versatile Outfit - If you are in a time crunch and need an outfit to wear year-long go here to check out Dara Prant’s picks.
- Shop with a Plan - Do you have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear, access your closet first, decide what closet essentials need then go and buy.
- Browse Sales - If you prefer doing a bit more research yourself, check out this amazing sale of party dresses I found.
To save you the time and hassle I had to go through as a last minute shopper, I hope you can use the above resources I put together to have a fashionable wardrobe.
